Horseback Riding Lessons

Wintergreen Riding Academy offers training classes and lessons in Dressage,ultimate dressage and Horseback Riding Lessons. All ages and all levels of experience are welcome. 

We have a number of school horses to choose from for the best match between horse and rider.

All of our school masters have years of experience training with all ages and all types of horseback riding experience.

Christy's well trained eye and years of advanced experience allows you to have a great worry-free riding experience. Enjoy yourself atop one of our gentle school horses for very enjoyable horse riding lessons.

BEGINNERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

Ages 10 and up

Regular riding lessons are offered on a daily basis. We currently have several appointment times available. Contact us for more information on dressage training and basic horseback riding lessons.

Training Programs can be purchased for you and / or your horse. Special discounts are available.  Contact us for more information.
We have special discounts for those who prefer to lease one of our horses on a monthly basis and take continuing lessons.

WRA Equestrian Center training facility features a full sized dressage arena and court.

ADVANCED RIDERS

Christy can spot  any problems you may be having and help you correct them  to achieve your every riding goal. She is also an expert at determining confirmation issues and resolving them.

Christy has many years training both horses and riders.  Preparing both for competition, shows and clinics.

Christy and many of her students have earned countless awards for merit and skill.

Developing that partnership or "synchronicity" with your horse is key to any success. Christy's teaching methods are paramount to reach beyond your own expectations.

With her dedication to positive training and capitalizing of the horse's "retrospective learning process", Christy addresses the WHOLE horse, mind, body and spirit to achieve success at each step of the learning process.

 When equipped with the finest court ammenities for dressage and Hunter/Jumper horse riding lessons. Our horse training barn ARENA can accommodate: corporate events, training, birthday parties, equine play - day events, teaching clinics and summer camps.

 Individual Riding Instructions
are approximately one hour in length. The lesson always ends with a riding success. .

All you need to begin is good shoes and a helmet. We will provide an appropriate school horse or you can bring your own at no additional cost.
